Ban orders in Hyd

Hyderabad,Dec 4:Hyderabad City Police Commissioner I B Prasada Rao on Friday issued orders imposing a ban on processions,dharnas,rallies and public meetings under Section 144 CrPC to mark the anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition in Ayodhya on Dec 6.The orders will be effective from 6 a.m on Dec 5 to 6 a.m on Dec 7.As per the orders, processions,protests and even assemblage of more than four persons have been banned as such gathering may provoke communal clashes.However,Police officers and personnel on duty,military personnel,home guards and bonafide funeral processions were exempted from the orders.
