Conference of Radiation Oncologists of India

Hyderabad,Nov 25:Association of radiation Oncologists of India (AROI)AP Chapter and Apollo Cancer Institute Hyderabad will jointly host the 31st  national  Conference  of Radiation  Oncologists of India – Aroicon- 2009 at Hotel Taj Krsihna  here from November 26 to 29.The four-day conference will be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh chief Minister Rosaiah on November 27.Dr Pratap C Reddy,chairman,Apollo Group of hospital will preside over the inaugural function.

Interacting with the media,Dr Vijay Anand P Reddy,the chairman of the organizing committee ARICON,2009 ,said that the American Society for Radiation Oncology will be taking part in the conference  for the first time.The conference will focus on combination treatment like chemotherapy,targeted therapy along with radiation therapy,he further added.The participants will be provided  with latest cancer care management guidelines during the conference.
