Rly medical superintendent in CBI net

Hyderabad,Nov 21: The sleuths of Central Bureau of Investigation (Cbi) on Saturday arrested Muralidhar Goud, a medical superintendent working at Kazipet Railway Hospital (poly clinic) of the South Central Railway,for accepting Rs one lakh as bribe from a person for processing his hospital bills According to Cbi officials,the medical superintendent sought a bribe of Rs 3 lakh from a person for processing his pending hospital bills to the tune of Rs 30 lakh.

Goud demanded that the first installment of Rs 1 lakh be paid immediately and the remaining Rs 2 lakh be paid within two months.Later,the person approached the Cbi and lodged a complaint with it.After registering the case, the investigating agency laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while accepting the bribe at his official residence in Railway Quarters.
