Papi Kondalu, the series of Hill Mountains which has become a famous tourist destination after the commencement of “Jala Yagnam” is slowly loosing its shine. Many pilgrims who visited famous Bhadrachalam have made these famous hills a part of their itinerary. But when the proceedings of “Jala Yagnam” have continuously dropped down, tourists hitting this spot have drastically come down.

This drop in tourist count is taken as an advantage by boat drivers, shop owners and they have started their illegal sex business in this area. One of the hills in this series of Papi Kondalu is “Siri Lekhya” konda, where the pimps are known to have set a base for prostitution.

Tourists hitting in low numbers during the working days are trapped in this “Siri Lekhya” konda and beautiful girls can be brought by either brothels or by customers themselves, these boat drivers will arrange all kind of facilities for hot enjoyment in this thick green forest hills.

“Prostitution has become a regular phenomenon in this area, few tourists bring the figures with themselves else there are many brokers who are ready to arrange luxurious ladies here to have all the sexual enjoyment. The famous destination of ‘Papi Kondalu’ has become ‘paapapu kondalu’ with this illegal sex business. Somebody must look into this and stop this kind of activities so that tourists can dare to come”, a concerned tourist replied after visiting the Papi(Paapapu) Kondalu.
