Excise Inspector in ACB net

Prohibition and Excise Inspector V Anil Kumar in Kanigiri Mandal of Prakasam District was caught red-handed by the Anti Corruption  Bureau  officials on Tuesday at his office while accepting a bribe of  Rupees 15,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour.

According to a press release  on Tuesday, The amount was recovered from the inspector  and he was  produced before the ACB Special Court. In another development  the Andhra Pradesh High Court dismissed the criminal appeal filed by Former Survey and Land Records Inspector D Krishnaiah in the office of Medak District Collector at Sangareddy against his conviction in a bribery case.
