Shameless Doctors kill 6 infants.

“Where are the doctors? What were they doing? Where were the bloody nurses? Are they sleeping?,” these are the questions raised by anguished parents after loosing their infants who were just days old.
 
This shocking incident occurred in Vijayawada’s Government hospital where the sheer negligence of doctors and nurses has taken toll of 6 infants. Parents complained that “negligence of doctors, non-functioning of incubators and lack of sufficient number of ventilators in the hospital were causes for loss of their beloved infants.”

Hospital management tried to hide the issue as a secret but the helpless parents have approached the media. There were no proper arrangements in the neonatal ward including the incubators and ventilators.

Health Minister Danam Nagender spoke to the media and expressed his sympathy for those who have lost their infants. He agreed that doctor’s could have saved these infants but the negligence and non informing to higher authorities over the failure of mechanisms in Neonatal ward has kept the lives of many infants at risk.
