The Union Minister for Tourism, Dr.Chiranjeevi has been doing his best services as possible to the victims of Himalayan Tsunami from day one of the floods. He has already announced Rs.1 crore donations from his MPLADS. He along with his office staff will contribute a day's salary. In addition, Chiranjeevi is planning to send Rs.25 lakhs to PM Relief Fund through the contributions of mega fans through 'Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust'.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi, as a tourism minister, has announced Rs.100 crores special package for the renovations of the Himalayan temples. He said the funds will be utilized for the basic amenities of the affected areas. He called for the wide range of contributions from cine industry to rebuild the devastated temples and complexes.
