2 Naxals killed in encounter

Khammam,Nov.5: Two Naxalites of Communist Party of India (Maioist) were killed by the Greyhounds police in an encounter at Vennela Bailu in Gundala mandal of Khammam District on Thursday.The Grehounds Police engaged in combing in the forests at Chettupali-Sambhuniguda noticed some queer movement by the Naxalites who also retaliated as the cops opened firing on them. During the exchange of fire with the police, two Naxalites were killed.The deceased have not yet been identified. The police suspect that the slain Naxalites could belong to either Praja Prathighatana or Janashakthi.
