College girl jumps off 3rd floor,dies

Hyderabad,Nov 5: In yet another shocking incident within 24 hours of pugilist Amaravati’s suicide death in the city on Wednesday, which left everyone anguished, a young college Girl on Thursday morning committed suicide by jumping from the third storey of her college building in Raj Bhavan Road at Somajiguda.Anusha,a 19-year-old B. Com student,ended her life by leaping from the Villa Marry’s College at Somajiguada.According to the sources, Anusha suddenly took the extreme step even as she was playing pranks with her close friends.There was nothing offensive in our pranks,suggested one. However,Anusha’s mother who complained to the college authorities, suggested that her classmates were responsible for harassing her daughter.

She learnt about the harassment from Anusha only this morning,she stated.Meanwhile,the Education department authorities have decided to investigate the whole episode and fix responsibility for the culprits and to ensure that students do not frequently fall victims to torments or ragging from college-mates.After the mishap,a bleeding Anusha was rushed to the Yashoda Hospital by the College authorities and friends.However,she was declared brought dead by the hospital staff.Later,her body was shifted to Gandhi General Hospital for autopsy. However,the mediapersons were kept out of the college campus as the gates were locked after the incident.
