Mysore,Oct 31: Ten Kenyan nationals,who were pursuing their law education here, have been arrested on Saturday for allegedly assaulting the Police and creating public nuisance in an inebriated condition.Kuvempunagar Police in this historic city of Mysore, who registered a case, said that at 3.30 am on Saturday Police got a call from one Dattagalli in Kuvempunagar locality saying the Kenyan students, in drunkard state, were creating nuisance dancing obscene. When the Police reached the spot and tried to intervene, the students have allegedly dragged the Police into their rented house and assaulted.Later, information about the alleged assault on Police was passed on to the control room and the Police of Kuvempunagar, Ashokapuram and Saraswatipuram were alerted.

The Kenyan students were later arrested. The Police seized their passports and recovered some liquor bottles and mobile phones from them.The accused were sent to K R Hospital for medical examination, where the doctors confirmed that they were drunk. Police produced the accused before court, which sent them to judicial custody. The injured cops were treated as outpatients at Apollo Hospital here.According to the residents of Dattagalli, it was alleged that the Kenyan students were regularly involved in mischievous activities and eve teasing.
