Hyderabad,Oct 28: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids on the residence and relatives houses of Chandra Mohan, who was working as Special Collector, Srisailam projects, in Hyderabad, Kadapa, Kurnool and Bangalore and unearthed assets to the tune of Rs 19 lakhs.The ACB officials conducted simultaneous searches on the home and his relatives’ houses in the morning hours. In the searches that continued till evening, the ACB sleuths unearthed Rs 19 lakhs and seized land documents worth crores of rupees. His riches included houses, flats, jewellery, bank balance and other documents.
ACB officials said that the officials are yet to open lockers of Chandra Mohan.The ACB sleuths conducted raids on Chandra Mohan house following complaints that he amassed assets disproportionate to the known sources of income.A disproportionate assets case has been registered against Chandra Mohan. He will be produced before the special judge for SPE & ACB cases, Vijayawada.
