Despite producing medical certificate to facilitate the granting of bail order to Ramalinga Raju on medical grounds , Nampally Court on Friday turned down the plea for granting bail. Ramamlinga Raju the former supremo of Satyam Computers and the prime accused in the Rs 7,800-crore scam at Satyam Computer Services will have to wait for some time to get the bail granted from the Court.
Ramalinga Raju was charge-sheeted under various sections of the Indian Penal code for criminal conspiracy, cheating by impersonation, forgery of valuable security, forgery for the purpose of cheating, using a forged document as genuine, for falsification of accounts and tampering evidence.
