<p>The Chief Minister K Rosaiah will lay foundation stone for a coal-based 600 MW power plant to be set up by the Singareni Collieries at Jaipur village near Mancherial&nbsp; in Adilabad District at the earliest.</p>
<p>Mr S Narsing Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni Collieries, informed the Chief Minister that everything is ready to launch the project and land to the tune of 1900 acres has already been acquired. The total estimated cost of the Project is Rs. 2700 crores. Coal reserves from an abandoned underground mine is also tied up for the Project. He said a Power Purchase Agreement with AP Transco will also be signed in this regard.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Meanwhile the Chief Minister appreciated the performance of the Singareni Collieries.&nbsp; He was assured by the Singareni MD that the Singareni Collieries will not allow Genco to suffer for want of coal. &ldquo;It is our responsibility to meet the requirements of AP Genco. We have not allowed AP Genco to suffer for want of coal,&rdquo; he said</p>
<p>The Singareni MD informed the Chief Minister that there are a total reserves of 9384.33 MT of coal in the SCCL fields at Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam districts, The turnover of the Company as on March 31 is Rs.6396&nbsp; crores and human assets are 70,586. The SCCL is the largest and only coal producer in the South India. It produces 9% of total coal from 7% of total reserves in the country. 73% of the 32 MT dispatched to 9 power houses in 4 States and it has the locational advantages with lesser transportation costs. It has the healthy product mix of underground and opencast coal ensures prudent and concervative exploitation of a scarce resource. The net profit of the company during 2008-09 was Rs. 132 crores.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Singareni Collieries Company paid Rs. 780.8 crores during 2008-09 to the State Government towards royalty and VAT etc.</p>
<p>The Company also paid Rs.382 crores to Government of India during 2008-09 as Income Tax, excise duty etc. Easing pressure on natural resources, the company is using steel and hadraulic supports in underground in lieu of timber. The specific energy consumption of SCCL has come down from 24.93 (1998-99) to 13.93 (2008-09). The Chief Minister was explained that 60% of pumped mine water is reused for internal consumption and balance is let out for agriculture. Special Chief Secretary, Energy, A K Goel and other officials also attended the meeting.</p>

Right from the start till the finish, the scenes assumed monotonous and routine flavor. Entire first half is filled with routine oudated youthful elements and the first half ends with a decent twist. But once again the second half goes off track and though the director tried to elevate the emotions betweeen father and son, father and daughter, and lovers, all those turned forced and convenient. Even Jagapathi Babu's character variation can be guessed by everyone and offered nothing new.</p><p>With the story turning out to be weak and lacked novelty, screenplay and direction went of a toss. Following few cat and mouse games between the hero and the villain, the first half ends with interesting but predictable twist. <p>The screenplay is even and uni dimensional for majority of the part. Director tried to come with an investigative thriller, but the so called investigation turns out to be farce. Police are shown as puppets and ACP as a dimwit. Even the race between hero and the villain to go after each other donot excite anyone.</p>
<p>People are witness to such scenes since the olden days and those who expected something new will be completely disappointed. Director missed many logics in the narration and most of the scenes looked silly and even school kids will be laughing instead of getting excited.</p>

<p>Initially at the start, this looked interesting but in her effort to thrill viewers taking them to the new heights, she overdid it and altogether in the end, it turned out to be a laughing stock. Except for the so called medical disorder, everything turned out to be routine and predictable. After the so called surprise elements, viewers can predict everything and this turned out to be the biggest backdrop.</p>
<p>While the story turned out to be routine and monotonous, even the narration and screenplay turned out to be repetitive making it a tedious watch to the viewers. <p>Sree Vishnu slipped into his role effortlessly. He managed to evoke few laughs with his comic timing. However due to his role he turned monotonous and routine and also went overboard with his performance as he tried to become more effortless and show his ease.</p>
<p>Nayan Sarika played the female lead in the film and looked gorgeous on the screen. She came up with a decent performance. Satya performed well and managed to generate few laughs with his antics. The role of Srikanth Iyengar looked artificial and to the top of it, his performed turned out to be over the top. Srinivas Reddy is ok in his role but his role assumed similarities to the roles of other actors in previous hit films.</p>

He mainly concentrated on generating humour on the screen instead of concentrating on powerful story. He in the process emerged successful only to some extent. While in the first half, he generated little humour, he managed to double it in the second half.</p>
<p>Maruthi Rao, as he decided to entertain, roped in top comedians and emerged successful to an extent. But most of the time, he tried to highlight Sree Vishnu and underutilised other top comedians. He generated fun with Sree Vishnu and Satya but the same cannot be said about other actors.</p>
<p>The first half sails off smoothly with hilarious scenes and it comes to an end with a decent interval block. But in the second half, he loses the plot and he turned routine and monotonous with his comedy scenes and these turned repetitive. The final half an hour turned out to be routine and missed the strong emotional connect robbing the viewers of the high intense feeling. Everything fell flat and the climax was rushed and predictable.</p>
<p>The music of Radhan failed to make an impression. None of the songs are appealing and made an impact much to the disappointment of all. The songs infact turned out to be the biggest drawback. Sai Sriram's cinematography is good and turned the film colorful. The editing of&nbsp; Karthikeyan Rohini is just ok. Though the runtime is sleek, the editing left few repetitive scenes which impacted the overall output. Dialogues are ok and production values are good.</p>

<p>Rajeev Kanakala came up with a subtle performance and elevated the scenes with his performance. He showed variations with his expressions and body language according to the situation. He showed love towards his daughter, care and fear for her safety and also the pain when she goes missing.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Vasanthika is good in the role of a daughter. She is bubbly when she gets a job and convinces her family members and showed her fear when the situation turns against her.&nbsp;</p>

<p>D/O Prasad Rao story is penned by Poluri Krishna. He tried to thrill viewers with a story that has few surprises. However, he ended up coming with a simple story that turned out to be stale. He started the narration in an interesting manner and this increases the curiosity among viewers in the first few episodes. But from then on, everything turns routine and predictable as in their quest to come up with more twists and turns, they instead turned everything silly.</p>
<p>In his quest to come up with more twists, Poluri Krishna failed to come up with strong characters. This inturn impacted his writing leaving a void and the screenplay goes awry though it looks interesting from outside. With the passage of time, the characters turn preachy with the director unable to fathom how to take the story forward and bring it to a logical conclusion.</p>
<p>The cop is introduced as a tough person and has unique investigation techniques but the investigation scenes offer nothing new. They cop is just turned out to be a mere caricature taking orders from the higherups. Finally when the final episodes end, viewers heave a sigh of relief.</p>
<p>The editing of GV. Chandra Sekhar looks unpolished. There are many repetitive scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. He tried to be smart to turn it decent but overall came up with a haphazard output. Sriram gave the background score for the plot. Sriram in his quest to elevate the scenes, came up with a loud score instead of adding finess to the narration. This inturn turned everything into over the top when it is not required. The cinematography of K.Mahesh Kumar is in sync with the story. He didnot try anything extraordinary and did what was required for the story sticking to the basics. But in the process he failed to realise that one cannot differentiate between Romance categorising it into Gen Z or Older generation.</p>
<p>He tried to highlight the purity in love in the older genderation compared to that of immoral values of gen z relationships but sperations and parting of ways have been prevalent in the society since longtime. The screenplay is linear and treads in a predictable fashion and in the end however failed to justify the reunison of the leadpair.</p>
<p>The film lacked the emotions and everything turns artificial as the director stayed away from the ground reality. He spent the entire first half on how the lead pair deal with the breakup and here he tried to impresses Gen Z with jargons like binge watching, stress shopping and stress eating. But he failed to live in the reality. Both the lead pair characters turned out to be artificial bereft of any emotions. Much to the disappointment of all, the so called interval bang fell flat.</p>
<p>He passed most of the time and the second half with flashbacks. Instead of increasing the interest levels, these turned out to be patient testers. Ganesh Chandra's writing turned out to be lazy and he thought it was casual and interesting. Sadly, he failed to understand the meaning and thought process of Gen Z and he confined himself to use it as jargons.</p>
<p>The music for the film is tuned by Vijay Antony. Though songs didnot make much impact, he added value to the narration with his background music. Ganesh Chandra himself handled the cinematography and he captured the visuals in an appealing and beautiful manner. The editing of Vijay Antony could have been far better as there are scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. Dialogues are ok. Production values are fine.</p>

<p>Mahi Reddy Pandugula's cinematography is in sync with the story. He showed the scenes in a natural and at the same time colorful as and when required. The songs looked forced and one could have done away with them as they didnot add much value to the proceedings. His background score is as per the story. <p>Seetha Payanam story is penned by Arjun. Even earlier he directed few films but all those are action entertainers. This time to launch his daughter Aishwarya, he chose a love story. It is known that Arjun launched the film with Vishwak Sen in the lead and Pawann Kalyan graced the launch as a special guest. However, Vishwak Sen opted out of the project and Arjun roped in Sandalwood star Upendra's nephew Niranjan in the lead role. Coincidentally both Vishwak Sen's Funky and Arjun's Seetha Payanam released on the same date.</p>
<p>Seetha Payanam story is nothing new but Arjun tried to highlight the love, marriage, family bonding and other relationships that play key role. To the top of it, he also touched upon the cow protection. For all his efforts he became preachy most of the times. He starts the narration in a routine and simple manner before the road trip which increases curiosity levels. The developments later makes viewers to sit up and watch.</p>
<p>But from the moment heroine decides to thank everyone, the pace dips down considerably and the routine and preachy scenes ends up testing the patience of the viewers. Here Arjun deviated from the main topic and went on to touch topics like cow protection etc. Only during the climax, once again the family emotions connect chords with the viewers.</p>
<p>Anup Rubens came up with foot tapping and melodious tunes. The songs are situational and shot in colourful backdrop. <p>Aditya Ravindran's background music added soul to the narration and it took viewers into the story. Songs are melodious and situational. The cinematography of Dinesh Purushottaman showed Chennai city in a beautiful manner. The Gorilla shoot in Chennai locations gave a new feel and beautified the scenes on the screen.</p>

<p>Altogether Couple Friendly is an emotional romantic story. Director Ashwin Chandrasekhar got decent story and got the optimum performances from the cast and crew. With few powerful emotions, he managed to keep viewers glued to the screen.</p>
<p>Genex youngsters will get connected to the story. The first half looks predictable and routine, the second half takes a serious note and emotions are highlighted to the core. A little fine-tuning of the story and script would have added value to the final output.</p>
<p>Ashwin Chandrasekhar took an old point and tried to add novel touch but emerged only partially successful. Considering all these aspects, <strong>Cinejosh goes with a 2.75 rating for Couple Friendly.</strong></p>
