The Chief Minister K Rosaiah will lay foundation stone for a coal-based 600 MW power plant to be set up by the Singareni Collieries at Jaipur village near Mancherial&nbsp; in Adilabad District at the earliest.
Mr S Narsing Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni Collieries, informed the Chief Minister that everything is ready to launch the project and land to the tune of 1900 acres has already been acquired. The total estimated cost of the Project is Rs. 2700 crores. Coal reserves from an abandoned underground mine is also tied up for the Project. He said a Power Purchase Agreement with AP Transco will also be signed in this regard.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Meanwhile the Chief Minister appreciated the performance of the Singareni Collieries.&nbsp; He was assured by the Singareni MD that the Singareni Collieries will not allow Genco to suffer for want of coal. &ldquo;It is our responsibility to meet the requirements of AP Genco. We have not allowed AP Genco to suffer for want of coal,&rdquo; he said
The Singareni MD informed the Chief Minister that there are a total reserves of 9384.33 MT of coal in the SCCL fields at Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam districts, The turnover of the Company as on March 31 is Rs.6396&nbsp; crores and human assets are 70,586. The SCCL is the largest and only coal producer in the South India. It produces 9% of total coal from 7% of total reserves in the country. 73% of the 32 MT dispatched to 9 power houses in 4 States and it has the locational advantages with lesser transportation costs. It has the healthy product mix of underground and opencast coal ensures prudent and concervative exploitation of a scarce resource. The net profit of the company during 2008-09 was Rs. 132 crores.&nbsp;
The Singareni Collieries Company paid Rs. 780.8 crores during 2008-09 to the State Government towards royalty and VAT etc.
The Company also paid Rs.382 crores to Government of India during 2008-09 as Income Tax, excise duty etc. Easing pressure on natural resources, the company is using steel and hadraulic supports in underground in lieu of timber. The specific energy consumption of SCCL has come down from 24.93 (1998-99) to 13.93 (2008-09). The Chief Minister was explained that 60% of pumped mine water is reused for internal consumption and balance is let out for agriculture. Special Chief Secretary, Energy, A K Goel and other officials also attended the meeting.

Mithran. The narration starts in an interesting manner and continued in the same way. The narration is good and the screenplay is intact without any deviations.However, the problem lied in the execution. There are many scenes and stunts choreographed looked silly and ridiculous to the core. This turned the spy drama and serious scenes into laughable ones.Things doesn't change even when the director tried to connect chords with the viewers with emotional scenes and the flashback episodes. All the interesting elements in The entire first half failed in the execution and everything turned bland.Many expected the second half to be better and save the day. However much to the disappointment , it turned even worse. The unraveling of the twists in the complex mission looked illogical and are bereft of interesting twists and thrills.The pre climax and climax are stretched to the maximum and it became a painful watch on the screen. None of the scenes excite viewers turning the entire experience into a disappointing affair.Sam.CS has tuned music. The film has no songs and the background music didn't add value to the narration. The background music left a lot to be desired. In fact it looked out of sync and outdated. Altogether it ended up testing the patience of the viewers. The cinematography of George C Williams is good. It turned the scenes appealing on the screen. He however didn't get chance to show his creative talent. Vijay Velukutty failed with his editing. There are many inconsequential scenes that impacted the pace of the narration and ended up testing the patience of the movie lovers. Graphics and CGI, VFX are sub standard. There are many unnecessary characters and the flat narration and uninspiring execution played the spoil sport. The flashback episodes undoes all the good intentions. When the main character itself turned out in this way, one can imagine the characterisation of other roles. They impact looked forced and failed to make an impression. Ravi Basrur scored the background score and it is ok at times but most of the time it turned out to be below average. He chose a simple point and narrated it in an interesting manner.Though the narration is predictable with three youngsters roaming listlessly before realizing their mistake and changing accordingly, the Deccani accent and the Old City vibes added value to it. What surprises all is that the director did not include a female lead in the film. He showed the female character as the sister to the three main characters.The dialogues are entertaining and natural, and none of them look forced and out of sync. The interval bang is done well turning the first half into a decent one. The second half continues in the same manner, and the screenplay and narration goes in a smooth and sedate manner.However for all the positives, the director after highlighting the conflict point and establishing it quite well, ends the film in a flat manner, disappointing all.The cinematography of SVK showed the Hyderabad old city vibes in a natural and realistic way. He used the camera angles to perfection and showed the nightlife and also the day hustles quite well and in an effective manner.The background score of Smaran Sai is good and complemented the proceedings, adding value to the narration. He came up with foot-tapping songs highlighting the old city culture and Deccani flavor. The editing of Rohit Penumasta is ok but could have been better, as there are a few drags that slowed the pace of the narration. The first half sails off smoothly with the typical introduction of the protagonist in a commercial mass manner and carries it in the same manner. However, in between, he loses steam, but still, the first half ends on a decent note, setting the tone for the second half.He continues in the same manner in the second half but adds a few more intense emotional elements. A couple of twists generate interest, surprising all. The twists come as a surprise in a rather predictable story, and the flat narration, especially in the second half. However, once the twists are unraveled, there is nothing much in the story to take it forward. The climax ends on an emotional note.GV. Prakash Kumar elevated the scenes with his background music. His background score added impact to the emotional scenes. His music and tunes for the songs already became the chartbusters. The screenplay turned out to be decent, and the direction is to the point.The music for Pawan CH is attractive and appealing. The songs are situational and are shot well. While one song is emotional, the other two songs are foot-tapping. His background music is in sync with the story. Vinod Bangari's cinematography is quite good. He showed the rural atmosphere in Telangana in a natural and realistic manner. Srujan Adusumilli's editing could have been far better as there are many repetitive scenes that dragged the pace of the narration. Dialogues are natural and hard-hitting. He takes the viewers into the story at the start itself but from then on failed to drive home the point in a convincing manner. The Ravi , Swetha love track and the father-daughter marriage episodes ends up testing the patience of the viewers.The court drama and the land dispute in the second half is shown in an illogical and silly manner. The point as to why son is hating his father is not shown in an elaborate manner and the father son bonding is not elevated properly except in the climax.A more racy screenplay, more intense and entertaining script would have added value to the narration. Many expected things to change after Vishal who was seen as a honest and innocent medical representive gets trageted. But nothing of that sorts happen and the entry of other Vishal character is expected to change the proceedings at least in the second half. However, the narration nosedives in the second half to a new low. The scenes featuring Vishal, Dushara Vijayan lack the emotional connect and looks mundane and the so called comedy with Thambi Ramaiah doesn't work.Things doesn't change in the second half and the so called flashback episode which is expected to take the film to next level is dragged to the core testing the patience of the viewers. The chemistry between Vishal and Anjali looked odd on screen and to the irritation of viewers, the pre climax and climax is dragged to the next level leaving people wonder when the film will end. The climax fight looked silly and illogical leaving all shocked. The story is outdated and screenplay and direction didnot inspire any confidence.GV. Prakash Kumar's music offered nothing new. The tunes turned below average. His background music fared no better. At times it turned out to be loud. The cinematography of Richard M Nathan is just average. Dialogues are pretty ordinary.
