Ramalinga Raju the ex-chairman of Satyam Computers who is undergoing treatment at NIMS, Hyderabad filed a bail petition in the in IV Additional Metropolitan Sessions court seeking release on health grounds.
According to a press release here on Monday the petition would come up for hearing on October 8. Raju who was involved in the Rs 7,800 crore scam is undergoing treatment for heart ailment in NIIMS.
As reported earlier Ramalinga Raju who was lodged in Chancalguda jail was shifted to NIIMS for treatment on September 7. Ramalinga Raju’s counsel Bharat Kumar requested the court to grant bail to his client on health grounds.
