ETA annual conference to be held on Oct 10

Hyderabad, Oct 3:

 The European Telugu Association (Eta) annual conference will be held at Stoke on Trent, United Kingdom(UK) on October 10 and October 11. This event is being held with the collaboration of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and the Department of Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The Eta will conduct various cultural programmes to preserve and propagate Telugu cultural heritage and maintain the identity of people of Telugu origin. The conference would provide a platform to the members to expose their latent talent in cultural, social, educational and Telugu literary events conducted on the occasion. On the occasion, the Eta will celebrate 601st Annamaiah Jayanthi Utsav at Balagi Temple in Birmingham on October 9 to popularize Annamaiah Sankeertanas.

The cultural programmes to be conducted on the occasion include Bhajagovindam, Srinivasa Kalyanam, Sahastra Deepalankarana, Chanting of Hanuman Chalisa and Sri Sai Bhajana Sandhya.

The Eta has asked the members and other devotees, who wants to participate in the events, to register their names with the association and make the programme a grand success.
