Hyderabad, Oct 2: Late chief minister’s son and Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday donated Rs 20 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s contingency fund to take up rescue and relief works in flood affected areas in the state.Expressing serious concern over the flood situation in the state, he called upon the MLAs and party workers to take up rescue and relief works in the flood hit districts—Anantapur, Kurnool, Mahabubnagar and Krishna.He donated Rs 20 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s contingency fund from Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy Foundation.He asked the party workers to make arrangements for distribution of food packets and drinking water packets in the flood-hit areas.
