The research work on the project dealing with the anti malarial Vaccine is in the final stages and the researcher are hoping to make a break through in this area. This was disclosed by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma here on Friday.The minister was in city to inaugurate the three-day Indo-Africa Pharma business meet. He was confident that the Vaccine would hit the market some time from now.
Speaking on the occasion the minister said that India has made considerable progress in the field of pharmaceuticals specially in the area of research and development. The pharmaceuticals industry in the country is also reaching new heights times. The 20,000 odd pharmaceutical companies in the country provide employment to over 5 lakh people apart from manufacturing 70,000 types of drugs.
