Rs25 crore assets seized in ACB raid

Hyderabad, Sept 24 :

 The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (Acb) on Thursday conducted a raid on the office and residence of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Engineer Shivakumar and unearthed assets with a market value of over Rs 25 crore.

The simultaneous raid on the office and home of Shivakumar began in morning hours. In the searches that continued till afternoon, the Acb sleuths unearthed Rs 25 crore worth assets. His riches included three houses and 10 sites in Hyderabad, one estate in Lakshamapur in Medak district estimated to cost Rs 15 crore, jewellery worth Rs one crore, two cars and bank balance and other documents. A disproportionate assets case was registered against him.
