Anantapur dist. to be named after Baba

Narasaraopet MP Venugopal Reddy brought forward a new demand to rename Anantapur district with Satya Sai Baba. In remembrance of the services provided by this god man to entire mankind, this will be a fitting tribute. As dead body of Sai Baba is kept at Kulwant Hall for darshan of devotees, there are long queues waiting for last worship of this great spiritual leader. Devotees flowing from various places across the world are facing severe traffic and congestion problems in holy town while Trust has failed to provide even basic amenities like drinking water.  

With VIPs, VVIPS thronging to Puttaparthi, Government and Trust made separate arrangement of queues for each category of visitors. Samadhi of Baba will be built in the same Prashanthi Nilayam where he spent most of his time.
