Strikes banned

Hyderabad, Sept 23 :

The State Government on Wednesday banned any kind of strikes in the Energy Department, i.e. in all the four Discoms.

Through an order (GO Ms No  49) of Energy (Services) Department, the Government has prohibited  strikes in all services under the Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (APTRANSCO) and the four Distribution Companies  (Discoms) constituted under the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 for a period of six months, a release here said on Wednesday.
