Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences Director A N Safaya stated that the health of Sri Sathya Sai Baba continued to be stable, though critical on Friday.
In a medical bulletin released to media on Friday evening, Dr Safaya stated that Baba’s vital parameters and indicators of functions of the various organs of the body -- blood pressure, heart rate, blood gas analysis and bio-chemical values-- continue to be nearly normal.
“There is a slight improvement of all his vital systems. This improvement is slow. All his clinical parameters of health are nearly normal and are showing improvement over the previous values,” Dr Safaya stated.
The panel of doctors is satisfied with the progress shown by him to the treatment being given to him, he pointed out.
However, Satya Sai Baba still continues to be critical and is breathing with the help of the ventilator and is being given kidney support through CRRT system of dialysis, Dr Safaya stated.
