We are the WORLD CHAMPIONS

It was a dream of twenty eight years to see India win the cricket World Cup Championship. In 1983 was Kapil Dev’s led squad won and now history repeated in this year of 2011 with MS Dhoni team. Thanks to all round performance of the team with crucial 97 runs from Gambhir and unbeaten 91 from Dhoni taking India to the shores of success comfortably against Sri Lanka. Entering the competition as title favourites, India was unbeaten in every department from the knock out phase.

As Dhoni lifted the World Cup, it was Yuvraj Singh - Man of the Series & Dhoni – Man of the Match. Celebrations have begun for all the Indians across the world. It is the moment to cherish and proud to say, we are the WORLD CHAMPIONS. Rightly this is a grand tribute to Sachin Tendulkar who was a part of six world cups till now and finally he too has got one championship under his belt.
