Attempts suicide

A girl student of the first year Intermediate at Narayana Junior Colege in Vizianagaram attempted suicide on Monday morning alleging harassment by the college principal.

A report from Vizianagaram said that the girl jumped from the third floor of the college building and suffered serious injuries. She was immediately rushed to the local government hospital and is now shifted to the King George Hospital (KGH) in Visakhapatnam for better treatment. She is now struggling for her life in the KGH. She reportedly told her class-mates a couple of days ago that the principal was harassing her for the past few months and that she was unable to bear the mental torture.
