Tirupati, Sept 21 :
Giving slip to the hospital administration and doctors, a suspected patient of the Swine Flu escaped from the Ruia hospital where he was admitted on Sept 19. The patient, a resident of Tirupati, was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after he complained of fever, cough and severe breathlessness.
Ruia Hospital officials confirmed the news that a patient managed to escape from the hospital. It is exactly not known whether the victim has any previous history of travelling abroad.
Meanwhile, the doctors at the hospital said that they have sent his swab samples for confirmatory tests and medical report of the test will come by Monday. It is worth mentioning that the Swine Flu has so far claimed 27 lives and affected more than 300 people across the Andhra Pradesh.
