&nbsp;The Chief Minister, K.Rosaiah, on Wednesday said the Government will positively consider the urgent financial requirements of the Horticultural University in the State. He held a review meeting on the issues of Horticultural University with minister and officials at Secretariat today.
Started in August 2007 with its headquarters at Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari District, the Horticultural University integrates teaching, research and extension for the development of Horticulture in the entire State.&nbsp; It has four colleges, five polytechnics and 29 research stations in the entire state.&nbsp;
The Chief Minister was told that in all 1,110 students are studying for Degree courses and 104 in the PG courses in the University. He was told that it is a fact the University lacks suitable infrastructure and faculty.&nbsp; Buildings with inadequate amenities were hired for colleges and hostels and managed during the last two years. Since all the colleges are located in rural areas, adequate and suitable accommodation are not available for the additional 390 students admitted this year.&nbsp;
The Chief Minister was requested for an additional grant of Rs.10.00 crores towards contingencies and Mr Rosaiah agreed to positively consider the request. Minister for Horticulture and Agriculture, N Raghuveera Reddy, Principal Secretary, Horticulture, Pankaj Dwivedi, Vice Chancellor, Horticulture University, Dr.Shikhamani and other officials attended the meeting.

&nbsp;The Chief Minister, K Rosaiah, on Wednesday asked the Bhu Bharathi Special Cell to speed up the pilot project in Nizamabad district and also simultaneously start the project in five other districts where it is to be taken up. He said the project is taking much time and there is a need to speed up the work and at least complete the project in Nizamabad district. He said the State must also make use of the Government of India assistance available for the project and start the work in other districts. &nbsp; The Chief Minister was informed that as far as the pilot project of Bhu Bharathi in Nizamabbad is concerned, the survey of agricultural lands is completed and Digital database created. In all 8.76 lakh land parcel sketches generated and distributed to pattadars/lawful enjoyers.&nbsp; Issue of statutory notices under Survey &amp; Boundaries Act is completed in 115 villages.&nbsp; Village site survey completed in one village and the results discussed with the Panchayat Raj Department.&nbsp; Field study conducted in select wards in 3 Municipalities by NRSA/ Implementing Agency and Bhu Bharati to assess the accuracy and utility of aerial photography. &nbsp; The Chief Minister was informed that the Draft law prepared in this regard was scrutinized by the Law Department. Remarks on the law department observations submitted back to the Department. The Law Department have advised to refer the draft law to the Advocate General for his opinion. The Government of India was requested to prepare a common model law for adoption by all the States. &nbsp; He was told that in all 17 out of 21 modules of application software developed. Meetings conducted on 24.8.2009 and 8.9.2009 with concerned Departments to evaluate SRS/Application software and elicit their views. Third Party Verification was entrusted to ASCI on 29.7.2009 to take up study in 72 Villages; Preparatory work completed and Field verification commenced from 2nd week of September, 2009. &nbsp; The Chief Minister was told that Phase-I Rollout is held up in Karimnagar and Nellore Districts because of High Court stay. Phase-I Rollout not commenced in Anantapur, Kadapa and Srikakulam Districts because of the joint representation of the selected agencies seeking certain relaxation/ modification of the specifications and terms in the Request for Proposal. &nbsp; Validation of survey under Survey &amp; Boundaries Act and Completion of village site and urban survey might be completed by 31.5.2010. Finalization of the draft law by 1.10.2010.&nbsp; The Chief Minister wanted the work to be speeded up in right earnest and A.P. to become a role model in the project. He selected a simple story and more than the story and screenplay, he concentrated on entertaining viewers with situational comedy. However, he took more time in establishing characters at the start and then dragged the narration with the scenes involving friends and then introducing the female lead. At that time one gets a feeling that the story is heading no where and the screenplay looked stale.After the predictable first half, except for the hilarious sequence in the runup to the interval and the interval block, the stage is set for the second half. The second half continues in the same way and the few comedy scenes involving the cop did not generate the required humour as it turned repetitive.The pre climax and climax picks up pace and the cameo involving Anudeep entertains all turning the film into a decent watch. There are many illogical scenes and the director failed to justify the behavior of the female lead and at time the hero character. Though the film is touted to be a romantic entertainer, it misses the strong romantic elements.Pavan Pappula turned the film visually appealing on the screen. He turned the scenes into colorful ones. Vasuki Vabhav's songs are melodious and at one touches souls and hearts. They are shot in a beautiful manner. The background music is in sync with the story. Dialogues targeted Gen Z and youth and at times crossed the thin redline with adult content and double meaning elements. Venu Gopal Reddy, the director himself handled the editing and it is ok. There are many scenes that impacted the flow of the narration and tested the patience of the viewers. The story has many threads but none of them are answered in a convincing manner and few of them despite the lengthy runtime left unanswered and the screenplay turned ridiculous to the core. How these characters influence the lives of the youngsters and where their choices eventually lead forms the rest of the story. Artists ReviewAnush Thorat performed well as an innocent boy whose life changes completely following the turn of events. He showed good expressions and emotions and endeared to all with his performance. Vasavi Ganeshan played the female role and her mannerisms, expressions and dialogue delivery connected chords with all the youth. She stole the show with her cute looks . She not only came up with energetic screen presence but also emoted well during the touching scenes.Prani Reddy did well in the role of Vasavi's cousin. He came up with a youthful romantic entertainer with a message to the youngsters and also elders. In order to connect chords with both these divergent sections, he loaded the first half with youthful elements and the second half with emotional elements trying to drive home the message.Though there are many bold scenes and dialogues in the first half, it connects chords with the youngsters as it was shown in an entertaining manner loaded with humorous elements. The interval block sets the stage for the second half. While the screenplay is racy and narration is quite fast paced in the first half, the second half narration slides down with monotonous elements. The preachy dialogues and repetitive scenes put off viewers. Finally the movie ends in a predictable manner.The music of Charan Arjun is good. The title song already became a chartbuster and it is choreographed in a good way on the screen. His background music is in sync with the story. Marthand K Venkatesh's editing is quite good in the first half. The pace in the second half dips due to repetitive scenes and intense emotions. He could have done away with the repetitive scenes. The cinematography of Rudra Sai is good. He showed the rural village atmosphere in a natural and rustic manner. Dialogues connect to youth in the first half and in the second half they become preachy and may put off a few of them. Anush Thorat and Vasavi Ganeshan came up with spirited performances and director Bikshu Yadav starts in an entertaining way with youthful elements connecting chords with genex viewers ending the first half quite on a high note. When everyone expected a more entertaining second half, he turned preachy with monotonous elements and this slowed the pace of the narration and impacted the final output. The overdoing of bold scenes involving minors with just a statutory warning that it is a crime under POCSO act will put off right thinking people. Many will be under the impression that the makers included these scenes to attract genex viewers and then wash off their hands with a message in the climax. A little finetuning of the script, and attention to the second half would have added more power to the final output. The first half except for few scenes is loaded with familiar elements. The second half is loaded with more emotions after all the entertaining and emotional first half. Though the scenes are familiar, they are elevated and made impactful with the performances of the actors. Finally the film ends on a decent tone.The music of GV Prakash Kumar is ok. He tried to thrill viewers with a horror thriller with spiritual elements. The entire first half is narrated in an interesting manner maintaining the suspense and unraveling the twists in an apt manner. The first half narration is decent and the screenplay is intact and racy keeping the interest levels of the viewers quite high setting the tone for the second half.However, MS.Raju loses plot in the second half with convenient screenplay. Instead of the protagonist unraveling the mystery of Agadha, other characters reveal everything to her, leaving nothing for her to do, thus diluting the over all impact. To the top of it, repetitive scenes impacted the flow of the narration. However, he generates interest in the runup to the climax before ending it in a decent manner.Nani Chamidisetty with his cinematography created the desired impact. He showed the scenes in an impactful manner using the color combinations and camera angles perfectly. The VFX and Graphics are of good quality. They could have however taken more care regarding the graphics. Art department could have done a better job as artificiality crept in the sets. The music of &nbsp;Rakesh Venkatapuram is good. He made a powerful impact with his background score elevating the scenes to the next level. Editing of Junaid Siddique is good in the first half but could have been far better in the second half. Dialogues are decent. He showed the scenes in a visually appealing manner. The music of Tejaswi Poornachandra is good. The background score of Saumit Deshmukh is good and added value to the narration. Director KK seems to have drawn inspiration from Maniratnam's classic Thalapathi and the characters more or less resembled the same. A little finetuning of the script, even powerful screenplay and gripping narration exploring the three characters divining deep into them would have turned the output into a more powerful and impactful one. Considering all these aspects Cinejosh goes with a 2.25 rating for KJQ.

Arun Matheswaran did not deviate from the subject and even drag the romantic and love tracks with unnecessary lip locks, hugs and songs.Though even few romantic scenes slowed the pace of the film, he ensured that he quicky shifted to action genre to keep viewers interest glued. The first half ends on a decent note with the cat and mouse game between the cops and the rebels. The second half continues in the same way with the introduction of new characters and the pre climax connects chords with all with the film finally ending on a predictable note. The predictability in the story, illogical scenes and few boring elements undid all the hard work.The cinematography of Mukesh is good. He showed the period look in the story in a appealing and relatable manner. Anirudh Ravichander's tunes for the songs are just ok. The songs had a montage touch. But he elevated the scenes with his unique and terrific background score. He showed variety in the background music. He showed his creativity by scoring background in a poetic manner. Prasanna. GK's editing is quite fine but at times there are few repetitive elements. Underground pipeline gives way causing hindrance to traffic
Hyderabad, Sept 16 :
 The Neckl;ace Road in the Nallagutta area of Ranigunj remained chaotic on Wednesday evening as peak hour commuters got struck in traffic jam. All this was caused due to a break down of underground water pipeline. 
The peak hours of traffic in the evening further compounded the problem with the police finding it tough to divert the traffic. The roads already battered by rains made the things difficult for the commuters.
