Thalapathy Vijay's LEO is the most awaited project as it happens to be part of LCU. Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing the film which is in full swing and set for a grand release on 19 October 2023. Now, one of the producers Lalit Kumar speaking to scribes, shared that Vijay was not keen on turning LEO into a pan-India entertainer.

Lalit shared "Initially, Vijay wasn't keen about making Leo a pan-Indian film. He asked us to make a film for our people only, but he agreed later, after Lokesh and I insisted and convinced him saying that the film would work big time across borders."

Lalit continued "We roped in Sanjay Dutt as we all felt he would be apt for the script. That's how it all happened. Everything should be organic and more than anything, the content should have the potential to work across borders,"

He added "The makers should know how to take the film properly to other regions and have a clear idea of positioning it for the entire Indian audience right from the initial stages," The music for the film is tuned by Anirudh Ravichander.
