It is known that IT Raids has been conducted yesterday on popular production house Mythri Movie Makers. The raids are continuing today also. IT department is reportedly investigating allegations of money laundering and verifying about tax details of the production house. Reportedly it is being said that Mythri Movie Makers is backed by two MLA's and also found that many lands in Shankar palli area are being connected to the production house.
Mythri Movies Makers banner is founded by Naveen Yerneni, Ravishankar Yalamanchili and Mohan CV. They made their first film Srimanthudu with Mahesh Babu and followed by Janatha Garage with NTR, Rangasthalam with Ram Charan. All these films feature star heroes and became blockbusters leading to the instill confidence among the industry circles and buyers for the banner. In the following years they have made numerous films with almost all stars and emerged as one of the top banners in Tollywood.
Meanwhile, Mohan CV has been came out of the partnership and now it is Naveen and Ravi Shankar are solely handling the production house. Even before entering into film production, Mythri is a noted firm which distributes big films in overseas on a large scale. According to rumours, Mythri received funds from two MLAs, one from AP and another one from Telangana. There are rumours that one mla is also involved in mining, and there may be money laundering going on. Additionally, they have operations in the USA. Mythri sources claim that these raids are routine and that their accounts are clear.
Mythri banner has huge projects lineup. Pushpa 2 with Allu Arjun and Ustaad Bhagath Singh with Pawan Kalyan. NTR 31 with Prasanth Neel and RC 16 with Buchibabu Sana were also announced.
