Ameesha Patel in check bounce case

Ameesha Patel landed in trouble in a check bounce case. Ranchi civil court issued a warrant against Ameesha Patel. A film producer from Jharkhand, Ajay Kumar lodged a complaint against Ameesha Patel accusing her and her partner of fraud, intimidation, and cheque bounce.

Despite repeated summons, Ameesha Patel ignored all of them and the court expressed its displeasure. A case was booked on her under sections 420 and 120 of the CrPC and the next hearing is posted for 15 April.

Ajay Kumar Singh in his complaint alleged that Ameesha and her partner took Rs 2.5 crs for the film Desi Magic in 2013 and till now they did not repay it. Ameesha after repeated requests handed over two cheques for Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 50 lakh in October 2018 but both of them bounced.

It has to be seen whether Ameesha Patel or her lawyer appear before the court in the  next hearing.
