Guneet Monga was hospitalized at the Oscars. Guneet Monga did the country proud by winning the Oscars for the best documentary The Elephant Whisperers. Now Keeravani, who also won the Oscars for the best original song Naatu Naatu from RRR, speaking to scribes made startling revelations.

It is known that a huge controversy erupted when Guneet Monga was stopped from giving her acceptance speech. Keeravani speaking about it says " the other award winner–Guneet Monga. She was not given time to speak her words, so she went breathless and she was hospitalized also."

However, it seems Guneet's health was not that affected as she was seen dancing at the after-Oscars party for the winners. Guneet reacting to her insult at the Oscars, says “There was a shock on my face. All I wanted to say is that it’s India’s first Oscar in an Indian production, which is such a huge thing. But my heart started racing as I couldn’t have come so far and not be heard.”

She added. “I did not get the chance to deliver my speech. There are videos and tweets online expressing disappointment that I couldn’t get to speak. This was India’s moment taken away from me,”
