Stars treading slow and steady

Tollywood stars of late seem to be adopting a wait-and-watch approach treading in a slow and steady manner. Gone are the days when they used to go according to the hit combinations. They are now waiting for the powerful story before locking the script and the director and they are not shying away from rejecting even the top banners and directors.

Nagarjuna did not sign a film after The Ghost and revealed that he has spent time understanding the trend and will soon finalize his next. Mohan Raja and others narrated stories to Nagarjuna. Venkatesh is yet to line up his next. He is doing cameos in Vishwak Sen's Ori Devuda and Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan. The names of Anudeep and Tharun Bhaskar are doing rounds but Venkatesh is yet to take a final decision.

Ram Charan is busy with his project with Shankar but there is no clarity over his next projects. He has been listening to stories from various directors. Rana after Virataparvam and Bheemla Nayak is yet to finalize his next. Nani is yet to decide on his next after his film Dasara. Vijay Devarakonda after the Liger debacle became extra cautious. He is doing Kushi and is yet to line up his next. Stars are not keen to hurry and burn their hands but steadily finalise scripts and score superhits.
