D Day for RRR Oscar dreams

Millions of dreams of Indians got dashed when the Film Federation of India (FFI) snubbed Rrr and chose a little-known Gujarati film Chello Show as its official entry for the Oscars. Many expressed their anger and vented their fury and even many western celebrities felt that India missed a golden opportunity to get the Oscars this time.

However, the makers of Rrr haven't lost their hope and the USA distributor decided to pursue the dreams. Variance Pictures, a USA distributor arranged for the special screening of Rrr at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on September 30 and many members from the Oscars academy will be watching the premier.

This will be a D-Day for Rrr as those who watch the film will take their decision and decide on whether to include the film for Oscars in various categories like  Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor or Supporting Actor, Best Original Song, and others. Fans of NTR, Ram Charan, and Rajamouli are hoping that there will be positive responses from the academy members.
