DrugsScandal: Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan gets a clean chit

Last year, entire Bollywood and movie lovers got a huge shock when Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for his alleged involvement in drug peddling.  NCB officials arrested Aryan Khan after getting a tip-off over the alleged drugs party on a Mumbai cruise and slapped cases under Section 27 of the NDPS (Narcotics Drugsand Psychotropic Substances act).

According to the latest, Shah Rukh Khan got a huge relief when his son Aryan Khan got a clean chit. NCB Court today cleared him from all charges saying "no drugs had been found on Aryan Khan". NCB in its charge sheet filed against 14 people but left out six others, including Aryan Khan, "due to lack of evidence."

Aryan's lawyer Mukul Rohatgi speaking to scribes said "Ultimately, the truth has prevailed,"He added "There was no material to charge this young man or arrest him. No drugs were found on him. I am happy that the NCB acted professionally in admitting their mistake,"
