Acharya OTT streaming earlier than expected

Mega Star Chiranjeevi's recent release Acharya which is released amidst immense expectations is getting a lukewarm response at the box office. Though movie lovers are showing interest to enjoy Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan sharing screen presence for the first time in full-length roles, weak story, screenplay, and direction poured cold water on their dreams.

In the midst of all this, rumors have it that Acharya OTT streaming will be earlier than expected. Inside talk is Amazon Prime which acquired the streaming rights at first inked the deal such that they can stream the film two months after the theatrical release but now they are exerting pressure on the makers to give a green signal for the film's early OTT streaming and are offering a fancy sum for the same.

If the makers agree to Amazon's offer, Acharya may be streaming on Amazon prime as early as May 20, 2022. The film directed by Koratala Shiva starred Sonu Sood in an important role and featured Regina Cassandra in a special song. Pooja Hegde played the female lead while Mani Sharma scored the music.
