The makers of Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Acharya are getting good news ahead of the grand release on April 29, 2022. The government of Andhra Pradesh delighted the makers of Acharya by permitting theatres to increase ticket rates for the first ten days of the film's release.
Thus, ticket rates for Acharya in theatres in AP will witness a hike in Rs50 in all categories. Though the film doesn't fall under the Super Budget film category as per the AP government norms, the makers being in the good books of the AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, managed to get the hike.
This came close to the heels of the Telangana state government granting permission for the theatres to increase ticket rates for Acharya. The film is directed by Koratala Shiva and stars Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in important roles. The music for the film is scored by Mani Sharma. The film highlights the corruption involved in the temple lands in the government's endowments department.
