Acharya: Koratala makes sensational revelation

Movie lovers for long have been wondering about the presence of Kajal Agarwal in Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Acharya. Till sometime back reports came that Kajal showed interest in promoting the film but Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan asked her not to do so as they wanted to take rest due to her pregnancy. 

Kajal was not seen at the Acharya pre release function and none of those attended the event spoke about Kajal. This triggered speculation that Chiranjeevi was unhappy with Kajal's performance and so. In between Ram Charan spoke about it and said it was Koratala Shiva's decision. 

Rumours spread that the makers removed Kajal from the film. Now Koratala Shiva speaking to scribes, confirmed the worst fears of Kajal's fans. He said since Kajal's role in the film had no proper conclusion they decided to chop off the role completely. He said they informed Kajal regarding the same and she understood it in a professional manner. He added that in Acharya Chiranjeevi will not be having any love interest. 

Koratala Shiva elaborating further said ' We created Kajal role as a girl in Dharmasthali. We shot for four days and then I had my own doubts whether Acharya's love interest will add any value to the film. During corona, I thought more about it and felt that a person with Naxal backdrop having a love interest will not be apt for the story and that too casting a top actress like Kajal in inconsequential role will not do any justice to her. I held discussions with Chiranjeevi and he asked me to discuss about everyone and told me to do what was right for the story. Then we decided to do away with the role and informed  the same to Kajal. Kajal understood it compassionately and she told us ' I miss all of you. Let's do a film in future'"
