Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma of late is coming with controversial posts and controversial films. His upcoming film Dangerous is releasing in Telugu as Maa Ishtam on April 8,2022. The film stars Naina Ganguly, Apsara Rani in the lead roles and is a bold take on the LGBT community.

However, the film faced huge problems at the Censor Board and later when the multiplex chain PVR refused to screen the film in its theatres. RGV from then on has been going on ballistic firing on all cylinders against those opposing the film. He came with the following flurry of tweets questioning his critics.
