Top choreographer lands in trouble

Ganesh Acharya is one of the top choreographers in the country. His recently choreographed song Oo Antava on Allu Arjun and Samantha in Pushpa turned out to be a rage. According to the latest, it is coming out that Ganesh Acharya landed in trouble. Mumbai police filed a charge sheet against him for stalking, and voyeurism of a co-dancer after receiving a cdance masteromplaint from her. The case was related to 2020 and police after investigation filed a charge sheet today.

Police filed the charge sheet against Ganesh Acharya and his assistant at the metropolitan magistrate, Andheri under sections 354-a (sexual harassment), 354-c (voyeurism ), 354-d (stalking), 509 (insulting the modesty of any woman), 323 (causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention to commit an offense) of the Indian Penal Code.

Ganesh Acharya however rubbished all the allegations. He said “She was part of a group of dancers I worked in 2007. Apart from that, I don’t know this girl at all. The accusations of assault in my presence and on my instructions are false, as I had left for a shot before the altercation between her and the two others took place.” Ganesh Acharya's lawyer informed them that they have initiated legal proceedings against her.

The victim claimed “In my complaint to NCW, I have also stated that Ganesh, who would often be found watching adult videos every time I visited his office, forced me to watch them, too. I reprimanded him and told him that if he ever repeated it or called me, I would file a complaint against him with the association and the police,”  after registering an FIR at the Amboli police station.
