The Kashmir Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri is creating a sensation across the world. The film which was released on the same day when Prabhas' period entertainer Radhe Shyam was released left all shocked at the box office. The film slowly is steadily picking up pace and is doing extremely well at the box office. Tollywood film fraternity should be proud of the film as the top production house from Tollywood, Abhishek Agarwal Arts made a grand entry into Bollywood with this film. None other than PM Modi showered praises on the filmmakers and called them personally and congratulated him and the entire team.

However much to the shock of all, none from the Indian film fraternity showered praises on the film. Except for Kangana Ranaut in Bollywood, everyone remained silent and south stars like Prakash Raj and Kamal Haasan who heap praises on films like My Name Is Khan, FIR, etc maintained a stoic silence. Stars like Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, NTR, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Prabhas who came in support of Jallikattu and films relating to it, maintained silence on The Kashmir Files' success.

Everyone knows that it takes guts to make a film like Kashmir Files. When the so-called stars support films on another side of the coin, they should be brave enough to support the films that show the dark side of reality and hard facts. Indian film fraternity does not have any guts to make such films but at least they should have the heart to appreciate those who come with such hard-hitting films. Everyone knows how Mahesh Babu stayed away from starring in Chatrapathi Shivaji's film for the fear of facing the wrath of a particular community if he as Shivaji shows the real facts. But the same film fraternity portrays Akbar and others as saints as Sr NTR did in Akbar Salim Anarkali and Hrithik Roshan and others did in Jodha Akbar. Ram Gopal Varma comes with silly films on faction backdrop but he has the caliber to do such hard-hitting films rather than controversial films.

The Kashmir Files is a hard-hitting reality on the genocide of Kashmiri pundits in the state and terrorism and how terrorism is practiced by the various political parties for their own gains. The film starred  Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar, Puneet Issar, Arpan Bhikhari, Bhasha Sumbli played important roles.
