The governments may resort to vote bank politics encouraging religionism, casteism and spending extravagantly for welfare schemes. Whatever the strategy, the governments should remember the fact that they must cater the needs of the Employees as they are the prime sources of taking the government's schemes and development programmes to the public. What happens if any government troubles the Employees? The result is disastrous. Following are the best examples how ruling parties encountered humiliating defeats after having a scuffle with the employed. 

FALL OF INDIRA GANDHI GOVERNMENT IN 1977: A total of 17 lakh railway Employees took a strike for 20 days in 1974 under George Fernadez's leadership. The PM Indira Gandhi suppressed the strike. However, she couldn't escape from the disastrous defeat in 1977.

MARRI CHENNAREDDY'S DETHRONEMENT IN 1980: The junior doctors and civil surgeons went on strike in 1978 to get their demands achieved. Their agitation was suppressed by Chennareddy. He had to get down from the CM chair in 1980.

NTR'S HUMILIATING DEFEAT IN 1989: Late NTR resorted to anti-employee resolutions post his victory in 1985. As a result, the Employees and the teachers were at strike for 53 days. Though the Employees movement was suppressed by the government, it had to taste a disastrous defeat in 1989.

Employees TOOK REVENGE ON JAYALALITHA IN 2006: Jayalalitha terminated a total of 1.76 lakh Employees with a single ordinance, TESMA. They were later reappointed as per the Supreme Court's order. Having developed an extreme vengeance against Jayalalitha, the Employees defeated her in 2006.

Employees SHOCKED CHANDRABABU NAIDU IN 2004: Chandrababu Naidu's administration was extremely good between 1995 and 1999. However, he developed arrogance after being elected the CM in 1999's general polls. Thereafter, he humiliated the Employees publicly and felt like a hero. Subsequently, the Employees and teachers were insulted by the local people in Janmabhoomi Grama Sabhalu. Immensely disturbed by CBN's dirtiest governance, Employees defeated him in 2004's general polls.
