Finally, the much awaited 'Pay Revision Commission (Prc) report for the AP government employees has been out. Having gone through the recommendations formulated by the secretaries appointed to frame the recommendations, it's understood the report turned out to be a laughing stock.
Perhaps, it could be called 'Thagina Saasthy' (a befitting lesson) for the AP employees who elected the YCP government with a tremendous majority of 151 MLA seats. As per the Prc trends, the employees might get a salary hike between Rs.1000 and Rs.1500. Furthermore, the Prc would be implemented from the October, 2022 as per the committee's recommendations. Wow! what a magnanimous government? What's there in the Prc? Let's checkout in brief.
* The AP state is in a state of deep financial crisis due to state division and covid. So, Prc should be implemented from October, 2022.
* The fitment is set as 14.29%. If the same fitment is confirmed, a significant amount from the salary of the employees will be deducted instead of hiking the salary. Even if the fitment is fixed to 30%, the total salary hike would be between Rs.1000 and Rs.1500. The situation arose owing to 5 pending DAs.
* Hereafter, the Prc will be implemented for every 10 years instead of 5 years.
*** Apart from the above gifts, many more bumper bonanzas are available in the Prc report. In the meanwhile, Telangana employees are rolling out floors laughing with the AP Prc recommendations while the AP employees turned 'Jeevachchavaalu'.
