What's Behind

Sampoornesh Babu shot to fame with his hilarious antics on the silver screen. Sampoornesh Babu known as Burning Star is coming to entertain movie lovers turning Bazaar Rowdy. The film's teaser and trailer attracted the masses. Bazar Rowdy is releasing on August 20 and let us see how Burning Star powered Bazar Rowdy at the box office.

Story Review

Kali (Sampoornesh Babu) leaves his house unable to bear his strict dad and becomes Baazar Rowdy to save the people from the anti-social elements. He thus becomes messiah of the poor and goes to any extent to help them by thrashing the baddies black and blue. One fine day he helps Swapna (Maheswari Vaddi) from eve-teasers and falls in love. As Kali is passing time in this manner, three persons (Shayaji Shinde, Pruthvi, Katti Mahesh) meets him and asks him to act as the son of an Industrialist (Nagineedu) to save their family. Kali enters the industrialist's house and where this will lead to forms the rest of the story.

Artists, Technicians Review

Director  Vasantha Nageswara Rao tried to entertain masses highlighting Sampoornesh's heroism in a hilarious manner aka Kobbarimatta style. He penned a routine story and stuffed with Sampoornesh Babu's mass mannerisms and dreamed of scoring a hit. But the story as narrated above is not in such a manner. The above story itself is routine and the director narrated it in an even more torturous manner. Right from the start till the finish there is no respite from him. Sampoornesh Babu leaves the house and becomes Bazar Rowdy and appears at all places and mouths loud mass dialogues and kicks villains throwing them like papers.

One need not bother about logic when Sampoornesh Babu's comedy works. However, the director came with routine story-lifting scenes from various mass entertainers of Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and others. He loaded the film with double meaning dialogues and the less we talk about them the better it is for everyone. Dialogues of Sampoornesh Babu may excite at the start as the ones shown in the teaser and trailer but listening to him repeat the same throughout irritates, viewers.

The story moves nowhere and the director selected the routine six fights, six songs formula of the 80s for Sampoo. The first half ends with the antics of Sampoo and the second half turns out to be relentless torture. Scenes come from nowhere and all the actors just passed through the motions. The director failed completely with his story, screenplay, and direction. The unending ordeal ends with the lengthy pre-climax and climax and by that time many viewers ran away pushing the exit doors.

Sampoornesh Babu tried his best to carry the film on his shoulders. He did everything like delivering powerful dialogues, enacting stunts, dancing and even showing emotions. But with his character poorly written and the weak storyline, he became a helpless spectator. Maheswari Vaddi, the heroine just dances and romances with the hero. There is nothing for her to do in the film. Nagineedu is ok as Sampoo's father while Shayaji Shinde, Pruthvi, and Katti Mahesh tested the patience of the viewers with their acting. Sameer looked aged as the lover of Sampoo's sister. Shafi, Jeeva, Manichandana, Naveena, Padmavati tested everyone's patience by their silly acts.

There is nothing to talk about on the technical front. A.Vijay Kunar's cinematography is pretty ordinary. BGM and the music of Sai Kartheek resembled that of the 80s. Gautham Raju, the editor is well aware of the fact that if he uses the editing scissors there willnot be any story and so he just kept quiet. Production values are average. Director's inefficiency turned Bazar Rowdy into a disaster.
