Nadu-Nedu Schools: Annee Vunna Aidotanam Missing?

Like never before in the Indian history for any state, the AP government has aggressively developed the government schools on war footing. Besides, innumerable welfare scheme are being implemented to ensure financial aide of the students as well as the parents.

The infrastructure of the government schools such as benches, desks, green chalkboards were provided. New buildings were constructed in required places and old buildings were beautifully painted. On the other side, a good quality school uniforms, bags, notebooks, textbooks, belts and even dictionaries are being supplied for every student while English labs are being established apart from existing Science labs. Ammavodi scheme offers Rs.15000 cash/laptops for every student's mother/student.

"Well, everything appears fantabulous, indeed!! But, but, 'ANNEE VUNNA AIDOTANAM MISSING' in Nadu-Nedu schools,' assert the critics. What goes wrong with the YCP government?

"Like Maantrikudi Praanaalu chilakalo vunnattu, the government's reputation merely depends on teachers. Unless the teachers have soft corner with government, there will be a complete chaos for sure.

What's the prime objective of establishing/running a school? To provide quality education to the students. And that is what missing in government schools right now. Instead of teaching, teachers are doing clerical duties, helping in cooking, testing and serving midday meals. Sometimes, they are supervising the responsibilities of scavengers!? Of course, they are turning techies uploading the daily contents like sanitation uploading, IMMS attendance enroll, students attendance online recording and online recording of MDM details etc.

Needless to say, holding all these responsibilities, any teacher forgets the fact that he is a teacher. Moreover, he loses all his energy to teach to the students. Besides, implementation of 'National Educational Policty' (NEP) fueled teachers anger to the next level.

That's the huge..huge..huge... suicidal blunder committed by the ruling party. Don't know whether the ruling party has taken the advice of any psychologist before making reforms in the school system. If the parents are treated as the vote bank ignoring the quality education and the welfare of the teachers, the party will have to encounter an irrecoverable loss.

All in all, the government is advised 'AIDOTANAM' (Quality education and restricting teachers for teaching only) won't be missing in schools.
