Whenever any individual does a phenomenal achievement, a yellow caste group of AP state searches quite eagerly the Google for that individual's caste.
As we all know, Pv Sindhu won the Bronze medal in the Olympic games. And she is the only individual player on behalf of India to have won two medals in two successive Olympic Games. Soon after Pv Sindhu won the Bronze, the yellow group searched Google aggressively to know Pv Sindhu's caste.
The yellow group, however, disappointed as Pv Sindhu's mother belongs to one particular caste but not her dad. It's a conventional practice that the children take the caste of their fathers. Pv Sindhu's father, who hails from Telangana, belongs to a caste that has the maximum percentage of population in Godavari districts.
The latest we hear is that the yellow group searched again the caste of Neeraj Chopra, ever since he won the Gold Medal in Javelin Throw. Once again, there was a big disappointment. Neeraj, who hails from Haryana, belongs to another caste but not that caste as the yellow group wanted.
That's the disappointing story of the yellow group on Sindhu and Neeraj's castes.
