Controversy over Hey Rambha song in Mahasamudram

The makers of Sharwanand, Siddharth's Mahasamudram recently released a mass number 'Hey Rambha' as a tribute to yesteryear actress Rambha. The song was penned and sung by Bhasakara Bhatla and the music is scored by Chaitan Bharadwaj.

Now the song is landing in controversy. Hindu organizations are angrily questioning the use of words like ' krishnudu govardhana giri ettadu, Hanumantudu sanjeevani ettukochchadu.. vaallu goppollu. manam kaneesam seesaalu ettalemaa' comparing Hindu Gods to boozers.

They warned of strong action against the makers of Mahasamudram for insulting the sentiments of the Hindus. Earlier Digu Digu Naaga from Naga Shourya's Varudu Kaavalenu and Bhaja Govindam usage in Ippudu Kaaka Inkeppudu landed in controversies and even cases have been filed against the makers. It has to be seen how Mahasamudram makers come out of the controversy over the song.
