Nagarjuna hellbent on Agent

Akhil's spy thriller Agent directed by Surender Reddy is hogging the media limelight during the last couple of days with rumours galore. Rumours came that the makers planned to cast Malayalam star Mohan Lal in an important role but as he expressed his inability due to his busy schedule, they settled in for Mammootty.

Interesting news came out that when Surender Reddy narrated the script, Nagarjuna evinced interest in doing the role, but Surender Reddy was convinced that if he does the role, focus shifts on him and Akhil will not get the due credit. He also told him that the script requires changes to satisfy his fans which will dilute the strong story.

It came out that Nagarjuna got convinced and he himself dialled Mammooty and requested him to do the role. Even as fans got excited, another shocking rumour is spreading. As per the latest developments, Nagarjuna is hellbent on doing that all-important role in Agent and issued a diktat over it.

So the makers decided against casting Mammootty in the role. As such Nagarjuna himself will do an important role. Nagarjuna feels he should step into power his son Akhil's career at the box office. In the meantime, reports have it that the makers are roping in Tamil beauty Atulya Ravi of Nadodigal fame. Discussions are underway and the makers are holding discussions with two other heroines. Sakshi Vaidya is playing an important role in the film.
