Agent: Director against Nagarjuna's entry

Akkineni Prince Akhil is surprising all with his remarkable transformation for his role in his spy thriller Agent which is in full swing under the direction of Surender Reddy.

It is known that the makers first planned to cast Mohan Lal in an important role but he couldn't adjust his dates and so the role went to Mammootty. The makers are paying a whopping Rs3crs to Mammootty for the role.

Inside talk is when Surender Reddy narrated the story to Nagarjuna, he got excited about the important role which is now being played by Mammootty. Nagarjuna remarked to Surender Reddy 'How will it be if I do the role?".

Anyone would have got excited at Nagarjuna expressing his desire to do the special role in Akhil's film. However Surender Reddy surprised him by rejecting his proposal. Surender Reddy according to sources felt that if Nagarjuna does the role, he should make changes to the role and the script to elevate Nagarjuna's heroism as otherwise, fans will be unhappy.

He felt that if changes are made, it will not suit Akhil and bring down his screen presence and so Surender Reddy cleverly rejected Nagarjuna's proposal. Nagarjuna who later saw through Surender Reddy's ideas agreed for it and then asked the makers to rope in Mammootty for the role. In fact Nagarjuna himself called Mammootty and requested him to do the role.
