Mega Star Chiranjeevi is currently busy with Acharya under the direction of Koratala Shiva. Even before its completion, he lined up many crazy projects. Chiranjeevi is starring in Lucifer remake under the direction of Mohan Raja and has projects with Bobby and Meher Ramesh.

Meher Ramesh already announced that he is doing Vedalam remake. Already the script got finalized and the inside talk is Meher Ramesh shot few montage shots. The film has a Kolkata backdrop and Meher Ramesh along with his team went to Kolkota last year during Dasara time and shot the festival atmosphere.

Inside talk is Meher Ramesh will use the footage for the Vedalam remake. Sources say just for the footage shoot, Meher Ramesh made the producer spend a whopping Rs 30 lakhs. People are heard discussing, how much will Meher Ramesh make the producer spend for the entire project, as he made the producer spend Rs 30 lakhs for just footage. Anil Sunkara is producing the film on the AK Entertainments banner and the project will go to sets next year.
