The calculations, statistics and assumptions for 2024's general elections have been kickstarted by the psephologists three years in advance. Obviously, the prime attention on the strengths of political parties such as the YSRCP, TDP, Janasena and the Bjp.
The main opposition party, TDP's major weakness is the point to be discussed here. Never ever in the history, the TDP, headed by Chandrababu Naidu, swept the election battles without alliances. The latest debacle was witnessed in 2019's general polls in which the party contested alone as the JSP and the Bjp maintained distance with the TDP.
Having understood the need to tie up with the Bjp, Eenadu owner Ramoji Rao and ABN RK negotiated with the Bjp central high command for an alliance for all the future election battles including the general polls, 2024. But then, Bjp has shut the doors for the the TDP forever. Following are the clear indications.
* Of late, Eenadu and Andhrajyothi are displaying their abhorrence on Modi in the write-ups which turned overboard and overrated as well.
* Until some years ago, Ramoji Rao had gratitude towards Modi for declaring the Padma Vibhushan award for him. Currently, Ramoji shed all that gratitude on Modi.
* Ahead of general polls, 2019, Balakrishna was said to have publicly used derogatory words on Modi and his mother which spoiled the fray for a life time.
* Chandrababu lost his steam while Lokesh hasn't grown as a big leader as such the TDP's reputation is getting eroded.
* Above all, the Bjp is satisfied with Janasena's alliance which, naturally, the Bjp distanced from the TDP's collaboration.
