Sources say Mohan Raja of Thani Oruvan fame made numerous changes to the script on the advice of Chiranjeevi. Though reports came that Chiranjeevi loved the changes and the film will go to the sets, inside talk is Chiranjeevi is unhappy with the changes. Lucifer has a Malayalam flavor and changing it to the tastes of Telugu viewers is quite difficult.

VV.Vinayak and Sujeeth tried their best but failed in their efforts. Chiranjeevi according to sources, if not satisfied may shelve Lucifer remake plans.
