Telangana CM KCR has ordered for an extension of lockdown in the state till May 30th. Initially the Telangana government imposed lockdown from May 12th to 22nd and a decision whether to extend the lockdown or lift it, was supposed to be taken on May 20th.
Regarding the same CM KCR planned to host a cabinet meeting at Pragathi Bhavan on May 20th. But he called off the meeting and talked to his ministers over the phone and since most of the ministers are monitoring Covid-19 measures in respective districts, he took their inputs on the present situation across the state.
After a good thought, KCR has come to a conclusion to extend the lockdown by another week and so this second phase of lockdown would wrap up by May 30th.
